What You Need:

What You Do:

  1. Saute onions until brown in about 4 tablespoons of olive oil. I usually add in some salt with the onions to get them to release their water faster.
  2. Throw in the garlic and stir.
  3. Add the frozen green beans, tomato sauce and water.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the sauce cooks down and oil is floating on the top about 20-30 minutes. If it looks like there is not enough oil in the sauce, I usually just add more.
  5. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
