1/2 cup Earth Balance buttery sticks (at room temperature)
1/2 cup spectrum vegetable shortening (at room temperature)
1-2 teaspoons organic orange zest
1 tablespoon Triple Sec
A few tablespoons of food grade rose water (enough to get the frosting to your preferred fluffiness)
enough food coloring paste to get the color you want.
What You Do:
Beat the Earth Balance and shortening together.
Beat in the powdered sugar.
Beat in the orange zest, Triple Sec and food coloring paste and then sloooowly add in enough rose water to get the frosting where you want. Be really
careful not to add too much to fast. It should only need 1-3 tablespoons. Don't forget to turn off your mixer every now and then
and scrape the sides down!
