My mom makes this every year.
Makes 12-14 servings

1 orange
1 lemon
16 oz can sliced peaches, drained
16 oz can sliced pear halves, drained
16 oz can sliced apricots, drained
15.5 oz can sliced pineapple rings, drained
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tablespoon all purpose flour (unbleached white)
1 tablespoon angostura bitters

  1. Grate the rind from the orange and lemon. Peel, slice and de-seed them.
  2. Layer the sliced orange, lemon and remaining drained fruit in a 13X9X2 baking dish.
  3. Combine the grated rinds with the remaining ingredients.
  4. Sprinkle the mixture over the fruit.
  5. Bake at 350° until bubbly, approximately 30 minutes.
  6. Serve hot or chilled.
