Luminosity Crystals Interview

PLV: What’s your three favourite crystals and why?

LC: I have always loved natural, unpolished crystals the most – especially Clear Quartz, Amethyst & Citrine. These three are staples to any collection whether you are an expert in crystal healing or just have an interest in them. They are definitely among some of my greatest favourites as they are found in so many beautiful and unique formations. Their colours, shapes and of course positive vibes are just a few reasons I have fallen in love with them! Placing these around your home or workspace will not only help to remove any negativity from the room, but also generate a positive and grounding environment.

PLV: What’s the best crystals for spring:

LC: hile we welcome Spring, it’s time to focus on balance, new beginnings and growth. Chrysoprase is symbolic of growth and development. It encourages joy, optimism and happiness while helping you to let go of any tension or negativity in your life, perfect for those new beginning feels! Moonstone is another great one for Spring as it emanates a soothing energy of renewal with its calming vibration and stress-reducing qualities. However my favourite crystal for this season is Rose Quartz – The stone of unconditional love, compassion and peace (you can pair these with a Clear Quartz to amplify the properties of the other stones!). This lovely selection will bring some natural beauty and colour to any space while the warmer months approach.

PLV: How do you charge your crystals:

TP: Since crystals have the ability to absorb both positive and negative energies over time, it is important to cleanse and recharge them. There are a few different ways to charge crystals, however my favourite is under a Full Moon. Many people believe that the Full Moon can clear a crystal’s energy and recharge the positive energies it holds. Leave your crystals in the moon light overnight to allow them to soak up those extra full moon vibes. I am also a big user of Sage when it comes to cleansing!

PLV: Tell us a little more about the benefits of crystals:

TP: The power of crystals and minerals have been recognised for hundreds of years – prized for not only their beauty but for their spiritual power and healing properties. People are drawn to crystals for all kinds of reasons, especially for their countless benefits to our physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. Once you begin to use them, you will start to feel these benefits almost immediately. Keeping them in your home helps to improve the energy within your environment and wearing them will help you to remain centred and grounded throughout your daily routine.
